New to Dread Crown? Here's how to jump in and start playing:

Step 1: Create Your Account

1. Click the "Sign Up" button on the landing page
2. Enter your email and create a secure password
3. Check your email and click the confirmation link

Step 2: Choose Your Username

After logging in for the first time, you'll be asked to choose a username. This is your identity in Dread Crown - other players will see this name in battles, on leaderboards, and in the lobby.

Tip: Choose carefully! Your username represents you across the entire game.

Step 3: Play Your First Match

Once you're in the dashboard:

1. Look for the "Game Modes" panel on your dashboard
2. Click "Play Now" under "1v1: The Ashen Duel" to queue for ranked combat
3. Wait for matchmaking to find an opponent (usually under 30 seconds)
4. When the match is ready, click "Join Game"
5. The game client will open in a new tab - get ready to fight!
